My mother used to poach eggs for breakfast everyday for primary school. That or half boiled in shell. She had the Amway Queen Cookware egg poacher, which came with little stainless steel cups. She’ll serve the eggs almost but not quite hard-poached, with a dash of pepper, a drop of soy sauce, and a drop of sesame oil – to be eaten straight out of the cup. I got myself some silicon egg poachers this week and just tested them out!! Mmmmm nostalgia!
